Majorca, 3/5/2012

Day 5

07.00 hours, first light, we are up in the mountain area , Lluc, in the monastry car park, as soon as we arrive

one very close, calling continuously for 1 hour +, very hard to get clear views, even harder to get a photo

We move up to the Cuber Resevoir, a full circuit we had good views of

17.30 hours, the light is right for photos at Albufereta
M.S. went off on a wander,
I tucked myself away out of sight, not a sound, no movement, 4 top species photographed from the same position in 40 minutes of incredable bird watching.

The sun was sinking fast, shadows, I made my way over to the sea shore where M.S. had been having an equal exciting encounter with

Kentish Plover, 4 including a very nice adult male.

21.00 hours, in the usual company, we listen to Scops Owl and Stone-curlew and catch up on the days events.
