Goosander, Widewater Lagoon, West Sussex, 19/11/2013
With the weather forecast as being a 'nice sunny day', I headed for Widewater Lagoon, Shoreham to arrive at sunrise, 07.30 hours.
As the sun climbs, you get superb changing reflections on the water.

Mediterranean Gulls, Southend Pier, Essex, 17/11/2013
Today, the weather forecast is for Grey / Black sky,
but no rain, all day !
With little prospect of taking photo's, or seeing anything anywhere, there is only one place left to go !
Southend Pier, Southend-on-Sea
the best place in Great Britain to photograph Mediterranean Gulls
Mick and myself are meeting up with Jono,
on the end of the pier, 10.00 hours, it really is a grey day !
25 + Mediterranean Gulls, all ages, sitting on ''posts'' !
So for me it's ''a Gull on a Post'' day !
sitting still, sideways on, like I like them !
