3 day trip to the Ebro Delta, Spain, 30th, 31st July and 1st August 2016



3 mornings at Punta de la Banya, gave very few photo opportunities, the light not good with only an hour slot each morning before the windsurfers, campervans and beach goers arrived to finish the morning session.

Lots of Common Sandpiper, Green Sandpiper, and a few Wood Sandpiper

on the banks of the irrigation channels

Black-winged Stilt, Whiskered Tern, Gull-billed Tern, Common Term

again, very few photo opportunities

Squacco Heron

Late afternoons at Port d'Illa de Mar

Great Reed Warbler, (seen 2 days)

Greenshank, Redshank, Kentish Plover

2 (only) Audouin's Gull adults permanently occupying ''the posts'' gave plenty of opportunity for practice on
