Weather is perfect blue sky.

I arrived at Quinto de Lago at about 15.30 hours, I did not have much time as I had to find my hotel in Albufeira, some 30 miles away (in daylight, I hoped) !

As I walked towards the reedbed area 3 Glossy Ibis flew in and landed on the golf course, I was just about to take a distance photo when, the golfers put them up

A further 30 yard walk to the reedbed and this little beauty was sitting up high on the reeds ! !

Purple Swamphen, Moorhen, Coot, Mallard, Sardinian Warbler, Azure-winged Magpie

You could not wish for a better 30 MINUTES ! ! !
