Dawn sees us on the harbour at Fuseta
A look over the saltmarsh, while waiting for the 08.00 hours Pelagic departure
This Pelagic is in a fast motor boat, which was taking us out to hopefully see 'ocean birds', the Shearwaters and Petrels feeding near working fishing trawlers. No chumming.
We meet up with Georg our guide, the man who sets these Pelagic trips all up.

Unfortunately, my photography at sea is 'hit and miss', moving boat going up and down makes it very difficult for me ! Poor excuse !
This trip was a huge success, Frederico was very good company and decided to join up with us for the Friday 8 hour Pelagic.
We had coffee after the trip, Georg gave us references on our maps of places of interest and where to go for all the different habitat, what possible to see, all this information was basically where we were going !
Obrigado Georg, we will see you on Friday.
We make our way to Quinto da Lago, bit posh here, golf course, reed bed, sandy scrub and saltmarsh.
