Basically planned to take in one day at each of Nimmo's Pier, Sligo and Ballycotton
A repeat of January 23rd, 2015 Trip.
On route we picked up Shaun H who is coming along with us !
Stansted Airport, full English breakfast, board Ryanair to Shannon, Ireland,
pick up hire car.
12.30 hours, we are checking the Gulls at Nimmo's Pier, Galway ! ! !
At first, Common Gull, all ages, lots
A Ring-billed Gull, 1 adult, flew in followed later by a 1st winter.
A single Iceland Gull, juvenile flew in for a brief visit, I was talking so missed a photo opportunity !
The light was pretty good so a photo of every thing else !

17.00 hours the light goes, in car, head for Sligo arriving in a rain lashing howling gale !
19.30 we are settled into Yeats Country Hotel, top class, 40 Euros per night, Shaun is well impressed, evening meal, the boys had 2 pints of Guinness, they said it was ''SUPERB''.
