Bonaparte's Gull, adult winter, Erith Pier, Erith, Kent, 03/02/2019.
Today was my third visit (two dips) to Erith Pier hoping to see the Bonapart's Gull
first found by RB and DS on 20th January.
A brilliant day, sunshine and perfect weather for February,
meeting up with RB, DS, SH, MS, DM and others.
12. 25 hours, (RB picks up on the Bonaparte's).
25 minutes with this stunning Gull ! ! !
A very vocal Caspian Gull, 1st winter, Yellow Ring: X90A (German bird, mixed colony) came into the melee
Of little interest when you have splendid Bonaparte's ''in your face'' ! ! !

late in the day, fisherman was gutting and cleaning fish, (they had a good day, 12+ Skate)
a Caspian 1st winter came in to the offerings.
