09.00 hours, it starts to brighten up a bit, back to the Punta de la Banya, try for the Slender-billed again !

returning to the Punta de la Banya we find

''EVERYTHING IS NEAR PERFECT''

The sun behind us, no wind, still, quiet, the tide coming in towards us, slowly covering the sand-bars,
bringing the Slender-billed in closer !

probably 20 Slender-billed at most, 4 together in a group, then further 2's and 3's !
they are dip-feeding, calling, posing on the sand bars along the shallow waters edge of the bay, about a mile long !
