''CALIFORNIA for GULLS''

Day 3,   17/2/2015


Coastal fog in the morning, ''no gull photography'', we stay a bit inland,
A walk out to Chimney Rock then a stop at Point Reyes
then a stop a Point Reyes, no Gulls !

14.30 hours, Salmon Creek

All the gulls are on the other side of Salmon Creek

out on the sand where the creek flowed into the sea, it was only about 6 inches deep,
very fast flowing, but the chaps were off  ! ! !

Off with the shoes and socks, I followed ! It was a bit cool, very fast current, it seemed to wash the sand from under your feet, a little bit dodgy ! !

we want to check out Russian River to finish the day,
we will be at both Salmon Creek and Russian River tomorrow ! !
